Where it all started...

2017
It all began when I was volunteering as an French teacher in a small village in Bali.
That’s where I witnessed the devastating impact of plastic pollution. The local communities didn’t have the tools—or the knowledge—to recycle. So each week, we organized beach clean-ups with the children, turning those moments into small steps of awareness and change.

2021
When I discovered that ocean waste could be transformed into fabric, something clicked deep inside me. The idea that the plastic polluting the beaches I once helped clean could be reborn as something beautiful—it moved me.
Blending my love for fashion, my passion for travel, and a growing desire to build something with purpose, I knew it in my heart: I had to be part of this change.

We began sourcing plastic directly from the shores of Bali—the very same beaches where this journey first began. Turning waste into wear felt more meaningful than ever. And while creating sustainable fashion isn’t always simple, we’ve learned that with care and creativity, change is possible—one piece at a time.

Our designs are imagined in the South of France, crafted from recycled fabrics collected in Bali, and brought to life in our atelier on the Amalfi Coast.
We believe in the power of a thoughtful, local supply chain. By working closely with our partners in Italy, we keep our process transparent, our distances short, and our carbon footprint low—because beautiful fashion should leave a light trace on the planet.

Sustainability 2024: From Bali, With Purpose
2024 was a meaningful year for Jade Vesper—a return to the island where it all began.
On the shores of Bali, where our founder first witnessed the impact of plastic pollution, our mission continues: turning waste into timeless beauty.
This year, we took major steps forward:
we deepened our use of recycled ocean plastic, refined our supply chain between France, Bali, and Italy, and began using non-toxic, elastane-free materials for a lighter environmental footprint.
Every piece is made in small batches by artisans on the Amalfi Coast, under fair and respectful working conditions. We also supported youth-led beach cleanups in Bali, and invested in local education programs—giving back to the communities that inspired us.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to fashion that’s not only elegant, but honest, responsible, and rooted in purpose.
Because beauty should never come at the planet’s expense.
